General Description
Perennial bunchgrass. Stems 10–20 cm. Leaves: blades 0.5–2 mm wide; ligules 1–5 mm long. Inflorescence a contracted panicle 2–5 cm long. Spikelets 4–6 mm long. Lemmas keeled, densely hairy to cobwebby on keel and marginal veins. Treated in Lesica (2012) as
