General Description
Stems 30–80 cm. Leaves: blades 1–2.5 mm wide, smooth, ligules 1–2 mm long. Inflorescence a narrow to open panicle 5–20 cm long. Spikelets 3–3.5 mm long. Lemmas hairless to sparsely hairy, with a deciduous straight awn 5–8 mm long (Lavin in
