General Description
Annual. Stems 5–18 cm. Leaves: blades 0.5–1.5 mm wide, ligule 1–2 mm long. Inflorescence a spike-like panicle 2–6 cm long. Spikelets 2–2.5 mm long. Lemmas awnless or awn-tipped, callus hairs very short or lacking (Lavin in
