General Description
Stems 80–150 cm. Leaves: leaf blades 2–5 (7) mm wide, ligules 5–11 mm long. Inflorescence a narrow panicle 20–45 cm long, branches ascending. Spikelets 8–15 mm long, round in cross-section. Lemmas 8 to 12 per spikelet (Lavin in
