Stems 18–45 cm, mostly decumbent, nodes hairless. Leaves: blades 3–5 mm wide; ligules 1–2 mm long, membranous, throat hairy. Inflorescence of 2 to 7 digitately or almost digitately arranged secund spikes, 3–9 cm long.
