General Description
Stems 10–35 cm, leafy. Leaves shiny green, cauline, 4–10 cm long, oblong to oblanceolate with sheathing bases; basal leaves bladeless. Inflorescence a raceme of 8 to 40 flowers, each subtended by a leaf-like bract, 5–55 mm long. Flowers green; sepals broadly obovate, 4–7 mm long, forming a hood over the column; upper petals beneath the hood, ca. 4 mm long; lip petal 6–11 mm long, strap-shaped, 3-lobed at the tip; the base with a pair of small lateral lobes and forming a sac-like spur behind.
