General Description
Glabrous perennials from a short, vertical, bulb-like rhizome wrapped in old leaf bases. Stems ascending to erect, 4–12 cm. Leaves few, alternate, linear, 0.5–1 mm wide. Inflorescence usually a solitary, terminal flower. Flowers regular, campanulate; tepals spreading, separate, oblanceolate, 6–10 mm long, white with purplish veins; stamens shorter than tepals; style with 3 short lobes. Fruit an obovoid capsule 6–8 mm long(
