General Description
Stems erect, 10–40 cm. Leaves sparsely long-hairy; blades 2–6 mm wide. Inflorescence of 1 to few erect or ascending, globose to cylindric clusters of 5 to 20 flowers, 5–10 mm long. Flowers: tepals purplish to tan, white-margined, 2.5–3.5 mm long; prophylls whitish. Capsules globose, ca. 2 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
