General Description
Caespitose. Stems erect, terete, 15–80 cm. Leaves basal; blades flat or inrolled, ca. 1 mm wide; auricles yellowish, thickened, <1 mm long. Inflorescence open to congested with 6 to 30 sessile flowers; main bract usually much greater than the inflorescence. Flowers with prophylls; tepals green, 3–5 mm long, subequal with acuminate tips; stamens 6. Capsules 2–4 mm long, rounded on top; seeds apiculate (Lesica et al. 2012.
