General Description
Scapes 2–25 cm. Leaf blades narrowly elliptic or linear when submersed, 3–30 cm long. Flowers: sepals 2–3 mm long; petals 2–4 mm long, quickly deciduous. Achenes 2–3 mm long; clusters 3–6 mm across (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
