General Description
Taprooted annual. Stems erect, 10–40 cm, dichotomously branched, sparsely scabrous. Basal leaves petiolate, oblong, entire; blades 1–3 cm long, withering at flowering. Stem leaves glabrous, oblong to lanceolate, weakly dentate, 1–5 cm long. Inflorescence hemispheric clusters, 7–18 mm wide, terminating the branches. Flowers perfect; calyx absent; corolla white, campanulate, short-spurred, 1–2 mm long, glabrous; lobes ca. as long as the tube; stigma 3-lobed. Achene compressed-ovoid, winged, 2–3 mm long, glabrous (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Range Comments
Known from Lincoln County. Introduced to eastern and northwest U.S.; native to Europe (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
