General Description
Rhizomatous perennial. Stems often branched, basally prostrate and rooting at the nodes, terminally ascending 5–25 cm. Herbage pubescent to hirsute. Leaves short-petiolate; blades 15–40 mm long, ovate to obovate, serrulate. Inflorescence of glandular-pubescent, axillary racemes; pedicels ca. 1 mm long. Flowers: calyx 1–3 mm long; corolla light blue, 4–7 mm across; style 3–4 mm long. Capsule obtriangular, not notched, 3–5 mm long, glandular (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants.
