General Description
Annual. Stems ascending to erect, branched, 5–30 cm. Herbage glandular-pubescent. Leaves cauline, short-petiolate, opposite below, alternate above; blades oblanceolate, 1–3 cm long. Inflorescence of pedicellate flowers solitary in leaf axils. Flowers: calyx 3–5 mm long, divided to the base into 5 oblanceolate lobes; corolla 7–8 mm long including the ca. 2 mm backward-pointing spur, bilabiate, upper lip blue, straight, lower lip yellow with 3 spreading lobes and a raised base (palate); stamens 4; style capitate.
