Yellowstone Saxifrage - Micranthes subapetala

General Description
Plants solitary or clumped, with bulbils on stems. Leaves basal, petiole about 2 cm long, flattened; blades 3-15 cm long, ovate to elliptic or oblanceolate, margins entire to minutely denticulate, ciliate, surfaces hairy. Inflorescence 20-75 cm, 30+-flowered, spikelike to more open, yellow to pink (or rarely purplish) tipped stipitate-glandular. Sepals reflexed, ovate; petals absent or sometimes 1-5 (if so then 1-2 mm long, elliptic, clawed and shorter than sepals), pink to purplish; filaments linear, flattened; pistils fused below about halfway; ovary inferior.
