General Description
Perennial from a simple rootstock. Stems solitary, scapose, 10–25 cm, glandular-hairy. Leaves basal (rarely 1 cauline), petiolate; the blade broadly ovate, truncate or rounded to the petiole, 1–4 cm long, prominently dentate, glabrous above, sparsely brown hairy beneath. Inflorescence glandular, spreading-paniculate. Flowers: calyx cup-shaped with lobes 1–2 mm long; hypanthium <0.5 mm long; petals obovate, white, 2–3 mm long with 2 yellow spots at the base; ovary superior. Capsule 2–4 mm long, follicle-like (
