General Description

Stems 5–20 cm. Leaf blades glandular-hairy, 1–2 cm wide, ovate to suborbicular, twice deeply 3-lobed. Flowers 3 to 9; calyx cup-shaped, 2–4 mm long; petals white to pink, 3–7 mm long, 5-lobed, often with an additional 2 small basal lobes. Capsule half exposed above hypanthium (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Range Comments

Gallatin and Sanders counties; BC, AB south to CA, CO and SD (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
