General Description

Diagnostic Characteristics
Pubescence rather scanty, that of the petioles and scapes appressed; petals narrowly obovate, mostly 5-10 mm long (Hitchcock, 1961, Vasc. Pl. Pacific Northwest, Vol. 3).
Range Comments
Much of Canada, eastern Great Basin, Rocky Mountains, parts of northern and western Great Plains (Kartesz 2009).
