Montana Field Guide

Stems erect, 2–12 cm, simple or branched, the branches prostrate to ascending. Herbage glabrate, stems puberulent. Leaves 5–20 mm long with 6 to 13 primary lobes on the upper leaf. Flowers: calyx 5–8 mm long, villous within; corolla pale blue, ca. as long as the calyx, tube 5–7 mm long, lobes ca. 2 mm long; style 5–8 mm long; stamens exserted well beyond the top of the tube.
