State Rank Reason (see State Rank above)
Navarretia squarrosa is thought to be exotic in Montana based on its occurrence in other states and the circumstances of where it was found in Montana (sub-irrigated pasture land). It is unknown if the 1981 population has persisted in Montana. A conservation status rank is not applicable (SNA) because this plant is exotic (non-native) in Montana and is not a suitable target for conservation activities.
