General Description
Annual with hispid foliage. Stems 15–50 cm, simple or branched. Leaf blades twice pinnately divided, to 12 cm long. Flowers solitary on branch tips; petals red with a black base, to 25 mm long. Capsules oblong, 15–20 mm long with stiff hairs (
