General Description
Stems erect, 10–40 cm, spreading-branched at the base. Herbage glabrous to pubescent. Leaves erect, 5–20 mm long. Petals 1–2 mm long. Capsule short-pedicellate, erect, 6–15 mm long; seeds vertical and side-by-side in the 2 locules (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Range Comments
WA to MT south to CA, AZ and CO. One collection from Beaverhead County (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
