General Description
Taprooted annual. Stems erect, 10–40 cm, usually branched. Herbage strigose, unpleasantly aromatic. Leaves short-petiolate; blades lanceolate to oblong, 1–5 cm long, obscurely crenate. Inflorescence of solitary or paired, short-pedicellate flowers at nodes of an interrupted raceme. Flowers: calyx puberulent, 5–9 mm long, bilabiate with 3 apiculate lobes; corolla blue, 8–12 mm long, upper lip small, lateral lobes of lower lip small; stamens included in upper lip (
