General Description
Rhizomes elongate. Stems erect, 15–50 cm, usually simple. Herbage pubescent at the nodes and on veins. Leaves petiolate, blades lanceolate, 2–7 cm long, lobed ca. halfway to the midvein. Flowers: calyx 1–3 mm long with 5 subulate lobes surpassing the nutlets; corolla white, 2–3 mm long. Nutlets 1–1.5 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
