Leaves petiolate, blades palmately lobed halfway to the midvein and serrate, 3–10 cm long, puberulent, gradually reduced upwards. Inflorescence of many-flowered verticillasters in axils of upper leaves. Flowers: calyx glandular, 5-veined, 5–7 mm long, the aristate lobes as long as the tube, the lower 2 reflexed down and somewhat longer; corolla pink, 8–12 mm long, bilabiate, the upper lip hood-like, villous, the lower lobes short; stamens 4.
