General Description
Annual. Stems erect, 20–50 cm, simple or few-branched below, puberulent. Leaf blades lanceolate, serrate, 1–2 cm long, glabrous above, pubescent below. Inflorescence interrupted, 5–20 cm long. Flowers: calyx purple, pubescent, 5–8 mm long, teeth 1–2 mm long, awn-tipped, the upper wider; corolla blue, 6–9 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press.
