General Description
Stems branched at the base, ascending to prostrate, 5–40 cm long. Leaves to 15 cm long. Flowers yellow, 10–12 mm long, the spur 2–4 mm long. Capsules declined, 15–25 mm long, curved, constricted between seeds (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Habitat
Moist, sparsely vegetated soil of open forest, streambanks, roadsides, eroding slopes; plains, valleys, montane (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Ecology
POLLINATORS
