General Description

Stems erect, 25–60 cm. Herbage glabrate to sparsely strigose. Leaves with 15 to 21 lanceolate leaflets, 1–3 cm long with rounded tips; stipules 5–30 mm long. Flowers pink; calyx tube strigose, 2–3 mm long; sepals deltoid, ca. 1 mm long, subequal; keel 10–15 mm long. Loment sparsely strigose with 1 to 5 reticulate-veined segments, 3–6 mm wide (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
