General Description
Root sometimes with a branched crown. Stems erect, 15–50 cm. Herbage glabrous to villous. Leaves with 3 to 7 linear to narrowly oblanceolate leaflets, 10–15 mm long with acute tips. Spikes ovoid-cylindric 1–4 cm long, villous. Flowers bright purple; calyx tube 1–2 mm long, sericeous with straight hairs; sepals ca. 1 mm long; petals 2–6 mm long; stamens 5. Legume glabrous, ca. 2 mm long, included in the calyx (
