General Description
Small perennial from a branched caudex. Stems erect, 8–20 cm, simple. Herbage glabrous to puberulent (Carbon Co.). Leaves alternate, ovate with acute tips, entire, 6–15 mm long. Inflorescence a dichotomously branched umbel with leaf-like bracts. Cyathia 2–3 mm long, glands with yellow to red, lunate appendages. Capsule 3–5 mm long, papillose (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
