General Description
Annual. Stems prostrate to ascending, 1–15 cm, highly branched. Herbage glabrous to sparsely villous. Leaves opposite, oblong to obovate, sometimes curved, serrate in the upper third, asymmetrical at the base, 3–12 mm long. Inflorescence: 1 to few cyathia in leaf axils. Cyathia 1 mm long or less; glands pink with white margins. Capsule 1.5–2 mm long; seeds lightly reticulate-wrinkled (
