General Description
Stems to 30 cm. Leaves to 12 mm long, dark green with a shallow, medial furrow on the upper surface. Flowers: pedicel reddish; calyx lobes ovate, reddish; corolla bell-shaped, lobes short, revolute, light to deep reddish-violet; style exserted (Stickney in Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
