General Description
Tuberous, dioecious or monoecious perennial. Leaves sparsely hairy, 3–10 cm long. Flowers greenish-white, 6-lobed; male flowers campanulate, racemose, the petals ca. 8 mm long; female flowers rotate, in corymbs, petals ca. 2 mm long, style 3- to 4-lobed, stamens 3. Fruit round, green to black at maturity, 7–10 mm across (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
