General Description
Stems erect, branched from the base, 5–50 cm tall with glandular, aromatic foliage. Leaf blades oblong to ovate, pinnately lobed with toothed margins, 1–6 cm long. Inflorescence of axillary cymes in a long, terminal panicle. Flowers: calyx lobes 5, distinct, ca. 1 mm long; stamens 5. Fruit a flattened-globose achene; the seed wrinkled, <1 mm across (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
