General Description
Stems erect to ascending, branched, farinose, 10–65 cm. Leaf blades farinose beneath, 3-veined, oblong to ovate, 1–3 cm long; margins entire. Inflorescence glomerules in terminal and axillary spikes. Flowers: calyx segments 5, distinct to the base, ca. 0.8 mm long; stamens 5. Seed flattened-globose, wrinkled, ca. 0.9–1.3 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Range Comments
In MT from Madison, Silverbow, Teton, Valley and Daniels counties; BC to SK south to CA, UT, and NM (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX; Clemants and Mosyakin 2003 in Fl. N. Amer. Vol. 4).
