General Description
Glabrous perennial forming loose mats. Stems prostrate to ascending, scabrous on the angles, 10–35 cm. Leaves linear, 1–5 cm long, minutely scabrous on the margins. Inflorescence a terminal, bracteate, spreading cyme. Flowers: sepals ovate, weakly 3-veined, 2–4 mm long; petals equaling the sepals; stamens 5 to 10. Capsule 3–6 mm long, opening by 6 slits (
