General Description
Puberulent and sometimes glandular perennial from a few-branched caudex. Stems erect, unbranched, 20–60 cm. Leaves: basal oblanceolate, 3–10 cm long; cauline few, linear. Inflorescence a glandular, erect, few-flowered cyme. Flowers: calyx tubular, 10–15 mm long, 10-nerved; petals white, the blade narrower than the claw, 1–3 mm long, obscurely bilobed with 2 minute appendages; styles 5. Capsule opening by 5 slits, equaling the calyx (
