General Description
Taprooted annual. Stems erect, branched, 20–50 cm. Basal leaves petiolate, oblanceolate 8–20 cm long, pinnately lobed. Stem leaves short-petiolate or sessile, reduced upward. Vestiture of stiff simple, often retrorse hairs. Inflorescence an ebracteate, sparsely pubescent raceme. Flowers pale yellow; petals 3–6 mm long with dark veins. Fruit a beaked silique; the body 10–17 × 2–5 mm, reticulate veined; the beak flat, 5–10 mm long; seeds in 2 rows per locule; pedicels erect, 2–4 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Range Comments
Native to Europe; our only collection was made in 1898 in Flathead County (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
