General Description
Annual to short-lived perennial. Stems lax, ascending, 7–60 cm, rarely rooting at the nodes. Herbage strigose, sometimes sparsely so. Leaves mainly cauline, 1–8 cm long. Flowers: calyx 3–5 mm long in fruit, strigose; corolla blue, limb 2–5 mm across. Nutlets black, ca. 2 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Range Comments
