General Description
Stems 30–80 cm. Herbage glabrous, aromatic. Leaves: basal long-petiolate; blades lanceolate to elliptic, 20–40 cm long; stem leaves clasping, smaller. Involucres 2–3 cm high; the central hemispheric; others campanulate, smaller; phyllaries glabrous, resinous. Disk corollas 9–10 mm long. Rays 13 to 21, yellow; ligules 25–40 mm long.
