General Description
Stems 50–200 cm. Herbage glabrate; leaves minutely ciliate. Leaf blades ovate, acuminate, 5–20 cm long, entire to serrate. Heads discoid; phyllaries lanceolate, sparsely puberulent, 10–25 mm long; receptacle conic, 15–45 mm high. Disk corollas yellow below, purple above, 3–5 mm long. Achenes 3–5 mm long (
