General Description
Caudex usually branched. Stems erect, often branched above, 5–20 cm. Herbage glandular-punctate, villous, sparsely so above the base. Leaves basal and cauline, 1–15 cm long; blades pinnately divided into 3 or 5 remote, linear segments. Heads 1 to 5; involucres 5–10 mm high; phyllaries villous, glandular, in 2 unequal series; outer lanceolate, united at the base; inner obovate, mucronate. Rays 8 to 14; ligules 7–15 mm long, glandular. Disk corollas 3–4 mm long, glandular. Achenes 2–3 mm long; pappus scales 5 to 6 (
