General Description
Annual. Stems prostrate to ascending, usually branched at the base, 2–20 cm. Leaves basal and cauline, oblanceolate to oblong, 1–3 cm long. Glomerules axillary, barely surpassed by subtending leaves. Involucres 2–3 mm high; phyllaries brown, tomentose with rounded, white, scarious tips. Inner corollas ca. 1.5 mm long. Achenes ca. 0.5 mm long; pappus deciduous (Lesica et al. 2012.
