General Description
Taprooted biennial or perennial. Stems erect, 10–30 cm. Herbage glabrous. Leaf blades ovate to elliptic, 1–4 cm long, entire to obscurely dentate. Heads 10 to 100. Involucre cylindric, 5–10 mm high; phyllaries linear-lanceolate, glabrous. Rays 6 to 10; ligules 2–4 mm long. Achenes light brown, 4–5 mm long; beak ca. 1 mm long (Lesica et al. 2012.
