General Description
Stems erect, simple or branched, 25–80 cm. Herbage puberulent; leaves glandular-punctate beneath. Leaves opposite below, alternate above, long-petiolate; blades lance-deltoid, subcordate, serrate, 2–7 cm long. Heads often nodding; peduncles 4–10 mm long. Involucres turbinate, 5–12 mm high; outer phyllaries ovate, long-acuminate, green, puberulent; inner lanceolate. Disk flowers 20 to 40, cream to pinkish; corolla 4–8 mm long.
