General Description
Thallus foliose and somewhat appressed to substrate; upper surface gray, pale blue gray, white, or brownish when exposed to sun; lower surface black and abundantly rhizinate; soredia coarsely granular to isidiate, mostly marginal, and soredia yellowish; and rhizines simple or dichotomous
