The White-winged Dove is a year-round resident of the southwestern U.S. and Mexico (Sibley 2014). Populations are expanding in Florida and the Gulf Coast (Schwertner et al. 2002). In Montana, this species has several summer records over the past decade (Montana Bird Distribution Committee 2012).
